Having been asked to provide full technical production for a two-day international conference, our team were tasked with the planning, building and running of the show, making sure we worked closely with the client and the spec provided. With the main feature being a 10m LED screen with a 3mm pitch. This provided a great backdrop to showcase the client’s presentation. LED screens can be used in well-lit areas, making them extremely versatile and a great option when the conditions may not be suitable for projection.
Our Barco E2 Event Master Processor was a great addition to this event and was used to handle the UltraHD 4K output as well as multiple comfort monitors requested by the client. We also used a Dataton Watchout Media Server to produce and play pixel perfect moving backgrounds and ultra-widescreen video content for the event.
Martin PA speakers provided the perfect sound accompaniment to the visual aspect of the show, with Chauvet Professional lighting creating the warm environment needed to bring such a big production together.
Every event has its challenges and this event was no different, with the rooms being used overnight and a 5am start our crew had to work against the clock to ensure rehearsals got underway without a hitch at 1pm.
Detailed planning and pre-production were an essential element to ensure the rig was complete before the speaker rehearsals were due to start, giving ourselves the time needed to perfect the sound and lighting production before the show.
Panasonic projectors, Sennheiser microphones and Martin Audio PA systems were all supplied to achieve the full production within each room.
The planning paid off and our experience showed as the whole event was delivered on time and with great success.
